Education Committee

The Education Committee of Women for a Healthy Environment seeks to provide programs and activities that will inform, engage and educate citizens of western Pennsylvania on environmental risks that impact human health. It is the goal of this committee to take such knowledge into schools and the community through events and workshops, collaboration with community groups, the organization’s speakers bureau and online communication and social networking tools. Through outreach, the group provides resources to affect change, not only in the marketplace, but in everyday living, and offers solutions for healthy solutions.
