Healthy Homes
The Healthy Homes program provides science-based information to educate communities about the impact of environmental hazards. Our program equips families to make changes in their homes that reduce toxic exposures and promote healthier spaces.
Healthy Schools
Our Healthy Schools program ensures that children can learn in safe, healthy, and sustainable environments. We help schools and early learning centers address environmental hazards such as lead, radon, and poor air quality through assessments, targeted training, and customized action plans. These efforts create safer, healthier learning spaces that promote both student well-being and academic success.
Healthy Early Learning Centers
Our Healthy Early Learning program helps early learning centers create healthier, more environmentally sustainable environments for young children. We offer professional development, technical assistance, and cleaning supplies to support early childhood educators in building safer, healthier spaces. Through our program, educators gain the tools and knowledge needed to improve indoor environments and promote the well-being of children in their care.
Environmental Health Policy
Championing Change: Our Fight for Environmental Health and Justice
WHE is dedicated to advancing policies that protect the health of our communities. Our environmental health policy efforts focus on reducing harmful exposures, improving air and water quality, and addressing environmental injustices that disproportionately affect women, children, and vulnerable populations. Through education, advocacy, and partnership, we work to shape policy solutions that create safer, healthier environments for everyone. Join us in advocating for a future where environmental health is a right, not a privilege.
