Advocate for Change

There are many ways to take action for a healthy environment. You can find opportunities to get involved with the following initiatives that are focused on specific environmental exposures or health concerns.

Women for a Healthy Environment collaborates with dozens of organizations and individuals to advance the primary prevention of exposure to environmental harms in our homes, schools, and early learning centers. We strive to connect individuals and organizations with access to relevant environmental health resources – and one primary resource is having and utilizing your local, state, or federal elected officials’ contact information. Contacting your elected official regarding issues you care about is one of the most integral ways of making change and ensuring the functioning of our representative democracy.
