Mounika Abbareddy

 is the Public Health Educator at Women for a Healthy Environment. She is also the Program Coordinator for WHE’s CDC Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) grant. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Public Health in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology with a Certificate in Global Health from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health.

As a graduate student, Mounika worked with a non-profit in India to analyze historic data on leprosy. She has since worked on COVID-19 surveillance and in childcare subsidy programs. Mounika is passionate about furthering women and children’s health and educating residents so that they can advocate for themselves. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, painting, and reading.
