Over 32 weeks, at least 50 high school students will engage in activities designed to help them become environmental stewards in their schools and communities. The curriculum covers key topics such as clean water, climate and air quality, waste management, and community service. Each session includes interactive, hands-on learning, supported by healthy snacks and transportation assistance.
The Eco-Student Stewardship Program, launched by Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE) in 2024 with support from a $100,000 USEPA grant, aims to empower the next generation of climate leaders.
