Description: The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) is offering grant funding to eligible schools in Pennsylvania for drinking water lead reduction activities with the goal of reducing children’s exposure to lead in drinking water.

  • The EPA strongly encourages schools and childcare facilities to test their water for lead
  • Participation in this program is FREE and voluntary
  • Remediation funds are available for eligible schools and childcare facilities
  • Up to $3,000 per hydration station
  • Up to $30,000 per building
  • Up to $100,000 per applicant
