Donna Evans Sebastian

Donna Sebastian is the executive assistant to Heinz Endowments President Grant Oliphant. Donna’s duties include support for the president as well management of the President’s schedule. In addition, she assists with communications with the Endowments’ board of directors and coordinates all board and committee meetings. She also serves as special projects manager for Endowments’ hosted conferences and special events including the p4 conference series, Call to Moral Leadership series, Climate Action Summit, Disability Inclusion & Access, Climate Reality Project, Women’s Health & the Environment conference series and many others. Donna also serves on the editorial team for h, the foundation’s full-color magazine.

Prior to joining the Endowments, Donna was with the Heinz Family Foundation for 15 years. She served as the program administrator for the Heinz Awards and was the information technology manager, with responsibility for overall network administration and support for the Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., offices. Additional duties included website development and graphic design.

Donna attended Carlow University where she graduated magna cum laude in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in information management and minor in business communications.

Speakers Series with Dr. Jalonne White-Newsome, the White House's Chief Environmental Justice Officer

Our program focuses on the crucial issue of environmental justice, particularly in the face of climate change. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, 6:00 – 8:30 pm, at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh.

During her talk, Dr. White-Newsome will shed light on the disproportionate impact of environmental pollution and climate change on low-income neighborhoods and communities of color.
